Sola Gratia Sophie Mo Sweatshirt

When I started dreaming about a sweatshirt to celebrate Sophie Mo’s turning 6, I knew I didn’t want it to simply say “Sophie Mo’s” across the chest.

As grateful and proud I am of this business, I wanted this piece to reflect the One who made it possible.

Over the last six years, there have been countless moments when I felt like I was failing. Failing as a daughter. Failing as a sister. Failing as a girlfriend. Failing as a business owner. Even failing as a Christian.

There were seasons when I felt like I was all over the place. Like I wasn’t doing enough, working hard enough, serving enough,  or measuring up to who I thought I should be.

But the beauty of the Gospel is that God’s love for us was never based on our performance.

Sola Gratia means “By Grace Alone.” It is the reminder that we are not saved by our accomplishments, our perfection, or our ability to get everything right. We are saved by the grace of God alone.

That’s why we chose Ephesians 2:8-9:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

This sweatshirt is more than a celebration of six years of Sophie Mo’s. It’s a celebration and reminder of God’s faithfulness through every high and every low, every success and every mistake
